Delhi’s Adway Print Concept installs Heidelberg Stahlfolder TI 36, Polar 115 PF cutter as part of its Greenfield expansion strategy.
Delhi-based Adway Print Concept installed a Heidelberg STAHL Folder TI 36 and Polar 115 PF cutter, as part of a Greenfield expansion strategy to equip its entire print production facility with that latest and best-in-class paraphernalia. A spin-off from a two-decade old, family-owned printing business, Adway was established in April 2017, to specialize in the production of E-flute cartons, mono cartons, wet-glue labels and inserts.
“The game plan is to reposition our business to target future growth areas. So, we are investing in state-of-the-art infrastructure to realize our key financial and business objectives. Heidelberg is a solid brand we can rely on to provide world-class printing equipment. Both the Stahl TI 36 and Polar 115 PF are value buys,” states Anuj Kumar Jain, director, Adway. He runs the firm in partnership with his brother Pradeep Kumar Jain.
The top-seller in its class of machines, Polar 115 PF is a high speed cutter best-suited for offset formats of 63 x 88 cm. An OptiKnife knife changing system facilitates faster knife changes and shortest make-ready times. The stable, rust-free, single-piece machine frame extends the lifespan of the Polar 115 PF.
“Cutting accuracy achieved with the Polar 115 PF is incredible,” lauds Anuj Kumar Jain, “thanks to the DPS (Direct Positioning System) with a mechanical positioning accuracy of 1/1000 mm. This feature ensures greatest cutting accuracy, which is indispensable in our line of business.”
With a strong foothold in the pharma vertical, Adway caters to more than 75 prestigious clients across diverse industrial sectors including automobile, FMCG and fragrance, extending its services to even the neighboring states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh.
Adway also invested in a Heidelberg Stahl Folder Ti 36 that rules the miniature folding market segment. The Stahl Ti 36 is designed to process minimum fold lengths of up to 20 mm/0.8 inches. A ‘Festa’ system facilitates faster make-ready by adjusting folding roller gaps & slitter shaft spacing. The Ti 36 can accommodate a wide range of challenging folding requirements, including gatefold, parallel and cross folds. Dependable and accurate sheet separation, alignment and transport, ensure reliable production, thereby maximizing productivity.
“The Heidelberg Stahl Folder Ti 36 helps in the production of several value-adding folded products at favourable operating costs, paving the way for Adway to tap into new, lucrative and attractive market opportunities,” comments Anuj Kumar Jain. Currently, Adway operates from a rented 16,000 sq. Feet facility, but plans a Greenfield expansion into Noida or Sahibabad.
“Our business is in growth mode. This is the most exciting part of the journey. Every step in the right direction takes us closer to our dream. Shortly, we plan to invest in equipment for making liner cartons and self-adhesive labels,” concludes Anuj Kumar Jain.
