The one day event concludes in Kerala. 150 delegates comprising printers, academicians, students and entrepreneurs from adjoining states participate.
The one day seminar titled ROMANCING PRINT successfully concluded on 24th June 2018 at Palakkad. The programme inaugurated by Smt. Prameela Sasidharan, Chairperson, Palakkad Municipality was attended by around 150 delegates from the industry. Vice President (South) of AIFMP and the organizing committee chairman of ROMANCING PRINT 2018, Mr. O Venugopal welcomed the delegates at the event organised by the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) in association with Kerala Master Printers Association (KMPA) at Hotel Tripenta, Malampuzha, Palakkad (Dt), Kerala.
For the last three years the event has been organised at the regional level while earlier it was conducted in Delhi only. The holding of this activity has been designated to the respective Vice Presidents of the region.
Present on the dais at the inauguration were Mr. S. Saji, President, KMPA, Prof. Dr. Rajendrakumar Anayath; Vice Chancellor, Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Haryana and Mr. S.Manickam, President, Tamilnadu Master Printers Federation.
Shri. C.N. Ashok, Managing Director, Auto Print delivered the key note address. Presentation of Mr. Kulakkada Pradeep, Teacher, Print Consultant & CEO, Future Schoolz about ‘Future In Printing’ was well received by the delegates. After that there was a panel discussion on Print Education –Today & Tomorrow, moderated by Prof. Dr. Rajendrakumar Anayath. The participants in the panel discussion include Dr. B.Kumar, Anna University, Chennai, Dr (Mrs) TKS Lakshmipriya, Avinashilingam University, Coimbatore, Sri. C.Dinachandran, IPT, Shornur and Mr. Vinod Kamath, MIT, Manipal. HODs of various institutions from South India graced the event with their participation in the panel discussion. The event was concluded with a motivation speech by Dr. R. Chandrasekhar Menon.
This was the first time a national seminar is been held in Palakkad. Apart from KMPA members, participants included printers, academicians, students and entrepreneurs from Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. KMPA Members & Printers from Palakkad played a pivotal role in conducting this seminar. KMPA expressed its gratitude to Mr. O Venugopal, Vice President (South) of AIFMP for the opportunity to organize the flagship event ROMANCING PRINT of AIFMP.
There was adequate coverage for this event both in print and visual media. The delegates expressed their satisfaction at the quality of the seminar and the way KMPA conceived the entire programme.
