Jointly sponsored by Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China (hereinafter PEIAC) and China International Exhibition Centre Group Corporation (hereinafter CIEC), organized by China Print Show Company, CHINA PRINT 2017, also known as the 9th Beijing International Printing Technology Exhibition will be held from the 9th to the 13th of May, 2017 at New China International Exhibition Centre. The booth application has now been approaching to an end. CHINA PRINT 2017 is estimated to embrace over 1,300 exhibitors covering a total exhibition area of 160,000 square metres – which is about to attract more than 200,000 visitors from all over the world.
The Organising Committee held the International Media Week for CH INA PRINT 2017 and InfoPrint 2016 on the 7th of December at China People’s Palace Hotel. Approximately 300 attendees got invited to the event. The attendees represented over 20 countries including Australia, Bangladesh, China, France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Russia, Philippines and UAE.
The event was attended by Mr. Lijian WANG, Vice President and Secretary-general of PEIAC. Mr. Jian’guo XU – President of PEIAC and Mr. Shijun ZHENG – Vice President of CIEC also participated in the meeting and addressed the audience. Mr. Weici CAI gave an analysis on the current status of China’s machinery industries. Mr. Hui ZHAO introduced the latest preparatory progress of CHINA PRINT 2017 in detail. Further, the up-to-date information of a new gravure material – the water-based full-colour ink was released by Huaxin (Foshan) Printing Co.
The programme also had representatives from Heidelberg, HP, Konica Minolta, Dinga, InfoTech, Sino-MV, Cron, Shandong Century, Beijing Kangdexin and Beijing JHF who discussed their exhibition plans and technology showcase at CHINA PRINT 2017.
On the 6th of December, the representatives were taken on a trip to China Printing Museum where they discovered the history of Chinese printing methodologies and their development. The visit to Topcent Industrial Park illustrated the contemporary status of China’s printing industry.
International Media Week had a comprehensive programme enriched by presentations, seminars, media interviews, interactive discussions and visits to the printing-related sites. In addition, the programme also stimulated the cooperation and communication amongst the government, associations, Organising Committee, exhibitors, visitors and media.
