65,000 sq.mtrs international graphic arts show poised to be a game changing experience for the Industry
“The Indian Graphic Arts Industry has gained a momentum post conclude of 13th edition of PRINTPACK INDIA with a confirmed business of over USD 290 million and trade inquiries USD 510 million generated at the PRINTPACK INDIA 2017, the entire industry seems in acceleration mode and ready to compete with international expos. The industry has a huge potential to grow, as there is big gap in export and import figures. Our focus is to give an ideal platform to the manufacturers so that they can perform better,” comments Mr. S. Dayaker Reddy, President, IPAMA during the curtain raiser of 14th Edition of PRINTPACK INDIA.
IPAMA – The apex body of Printing, Packaging and Allied Machinery Manufacturers of India, is dedicated the promotion of the Indian Graphic Arts Industry. Apart from functioning as a dependable data bank and centre for dissemination of information on lat est market perspectives, technology and equipment, the Association acts as a big Show Window. For projecting a vibrant ‘Brand India’ image, from time to time, it holds National and International exhibitions.
IPAMA organizes PRINTPACK INDIA, a biennial event that usually takes place during the month of February. The exhibitors of PPI have been able to expand business with this common business-customer platform. Serious visitors with definite buying decision have been visiting the PPI to know about the latest in the industry and catch up with the approaching technological breakthroughs. Consequently, PPI is a launch pad for new technologies and services for providers from the domestic as well as international markets.
The 14th edition of its biennial flagship show PRINTPACK INDIA 2019 is scheduled to be held from February 1 to 6, 2019 at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, NCR Delhi. The Venue boasts a World Class infrastructure and state-of-the-art facilities and centrally air conditioned exhibit area. Uninterrupted power supply, centralized Wi-fi/PA System, lavish dining areas, lounges and parking lots and excellent road connectivity through 8 lane expressway and Metro Rail are some of the highlights.

The 13th PRINTPACK INDIA, 2017 turned out to be a mini world show on the Graphic Arts Industry with a across globe participation from China, Dubai, Hong Kong, Italy, Riyadh, Sharjah, South Korea, Taiwan, UK, USA, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and many more countries in addition to the overwhelming domestic participation.
India is the 5th largest Print Packaging market with revenues of USD 12.2 bn (As per the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) study). By 2020, revenues will reach $18.6bn, just below Japan, the 3rd largest market with $19.1bn in Print Packaging revenues. The fast growing imports due to an evident 1:5 gap between imports and exports present huge opportunities for both domestic as well as international players.
