“More stalls on web-to-print strengthened the impression that Print is reviving and print is growing.” – Nizamappas.
“Excellent!” exclaims Nizamappas, Propreitor, YesGo, when asked about his PrintPack 2019 participation. Adding further, he says, “I saw all the latest technologies and demo’s at one place. Moreover I had a very good deal this year – an outstanding Native PDF Editor Esko’s ArtPro+ which made Print Pack 2019 all the more remarkable for me.”
Commenting on the increased length to 6-day show by PrintPack, he says, “According to me, 6 days are surely long for a show but always the first day meant for installation and last day meant for dismantling. So the total counted working days are 4. Moreover some of the decision maker and manufacturer need minimum working day to finalize the deal with products and to open the LC and other confirmation process during the show itself. It’s a different try but the realistic figure is the overwhelming response manifested by the enthusiasm and energy of both visitors as well as exhibitors.”
The technologies and developments that impressed Nizamappas during the show include: more Rigid-box deals, Offset Printing Machines and Auto die-cut deals happening this time; fewer paper bag stalls and more Indian made stalls attracted his attention. “Regarding high end software almost all the companies made the displayed their products which was contrary to earlier exhibition experience. This year I was a visitor but hopefully next PrintPack will see presence of my own stall too,” he says.
He felt positive about the presence of industry stalwarts and sees the industry shining and booming – as always. “Moreover, theme of Print Pack 2019 was Print only and overwhelming presence of industry people, more and more demonstrations of software towards excellence in print output, more stalls on web-to-print strengthened the impression that Print is reviving and print is growing. Conferences like Print Outlook, World Label Day and Inkpack were also very good attempt towards showcase of latest happenings and technologies in the industry. Above all, overwhelming interest and presence of the visitors manifest that print is definitely going to grow,” he explains.
Nizamappas is a regular visitor of PrintPack from 1999 from a student to 2019 entrepreneur. “This year marks my 20th year as a visitor. I do believe Industry events like Print Pack is a good occasion to networking, growing and sharing knowledge as well as meeting your old colleagues and friends which helps keep not only business but also relations alive,” he concludes.
